Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years ofshipfitter, new construction steel experience
- Must pass a lifetime background check,preemploymentphysical and drug screening
- Must demonstrate ability to interpret and work from construction drawings, job specifications, instruction manuals, manufacturers handbooks, change order, and contract specifications.
- Thorough knowledge of equipment, work processes and techniques used in measuring, and fitting of steel components, modules and vessels.
Safety Environmental Factors:
All employees are expected to adhere to the companys safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
