Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager in our Women's OB unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This position is in our Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Baptist Jacksonville is a Magnet™ designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing nursing care patients on the Labor and Delivery unit
• Assessment and reassessment of unit function
• Acting as a liaison for staff, physicians, and other departments
• Being a resource for staff members, mentoring growth and providing feedback
• Monitoring and adjusting schedules in accordance with unit budget
• Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

• 3-5 Years Labor and Delivery Experience
• Nursing Management Experience
• Charge Nurse Experience

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
