Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit, requiring a FL or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Work in a 35-bed high acuity telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes acutely ill adults with primary cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses
• Care for patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU
• Night shift from 18:45-07:15
• Every other weekend and Easter holiday coverage required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate per state-specific radius rule
• COVID vaccination is no longer required for this assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrub color requirements not specified

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
