Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity ICU position with advanced cardiac care and every-other-weekend requirements.

• Work in a 30-bed high acuity ICU (CCU) setting
• Care for patients with neurosurgery, open heart surgery, TAVR, septic shock, CRRT, Impella, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, pacemakers, advanced drip titration, chest tubes, and DKA
• CVICU experience highly preferred
• Day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
• Every other weekend required
• Easter holiday coverage required
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
• Responsibilities include managing advanced cardiac support devices and complex critical care interventions
• Candidates may work with CVICU patients and perform advanced procedures such as CRRT and Impella support
• Team structure supports high-acuity critical care
• No COVID-19 vaccination required for employment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius policy
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Primary source license verification and Nursys report needed within 30 days of start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and valid US address
