Responsibilities
PRN House Supervisor RN – Alternate Weekends
This position's schedule alternates every other weekend.
Responsible for the staffing, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for psychiatric and chemically dependent patients during each designated shift. Also responsible for the operational and programmatic management of the designated shift; assisting in the professional growth and development of nursing staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. This position is responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems when needed.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Valid license with the Board of Nursing for the State of Florida
- Prefer three (3) years of Clinical Psychiatric Nursing experience, including at least one year of supervisory duties
- Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
