Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Oakleaf. This is a full‑time, evening shift opportunity with a 36‑hour per week commitment, working 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional, patient‑centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and emergent conditions
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care
- Coordinate services provided by ancillary departments to support optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as a patient advocate, promoting patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction
- Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health
- Participate in staff meetings, unit‑based initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities

Education RequiredAssociate's Degree - Nursing
Education PreferredBachelor's Degree - Nursing
Experience- 1‑2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Telemetry Experience
- Emergency Services Experience
- Hospital Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
- Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
