Job Summary
Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring Registered Nurses for our ICU Flex/Float Team. This PRN position requires a commitment of one 12‑hour shift per week, with self‑scheduling. Experience in ICU is required; nurses may float to PCU as needed. Ability to float between the Downtown campus and one other campus is required.

Responsibilities- Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
- Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
- Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care
- Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
- Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
- Act as the patient advocate
- Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
This position is designated as requiring a Level II background check, a detailed fingerprint‑based screening for positions of trust that checks state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history, and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment. Education RequiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Education PreferredMaster's Degree in Nursing.
Experience- 2 years Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse required.
