As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate CRNA to join our team. In this role, you'll provide safe and effective anesthesia care while supporting patients throughout their surgical journey - from assessment and planning to recovery and follow-up.
Job Function:
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia based on patient and surgical needs.
- Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments and create individualized anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patients during procedures and adjust anesthesia levels for safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia options, risks, and recovery expectations.
- Advocate for patients' needs and ensure informed consent is obtained.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff to optimize outcomes.
- Respond effectively to anesthesia-related complications and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia care tailored to each patient.
- Partner with the surgical team to deliver seamless perioperative care.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) plus graduate-level Nurse Anesthesia program (MSN or DNP, COA-accredited).
- Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) and active RN license.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, emergency response, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with commitment to quality care.
