American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry position on a bariatric surgical unit, requiring a FL or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

• Work in a Bariatric Surgical Unit within a hospital setting
• 30-bed high acuity telemetry unit
• Care for pre- and post-bariatric patients as well as vascular, urological, and colorectal surgical patients
• Every other weekend and Easter shift required
• Day shifts, 06:45-19:15
• Both 36 or 48 hour weekly contracts are accepted
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate, with radius rule applied according to state
• Two professional references and a copy of driver’s license are required for consideration
• All Ascension assignments are auto-offer positions
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• AHA BLS certification required
• Nursys verification and current license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
