Position OverviewRegistered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at Baptist Orthopedics – Reid Building in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part‑time day shift opportunity focused on elective procedures such as sports medicine, foot, ankle, and hand surgeries. The role is ideal for an OR nurse seeking a predictable schedule with no call, nights, or weekends.
Job Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process.
- Coordinate care with surgical and ancillary teams.
- Prepare operating room and surgical cases.
- Anticipate patient and procedural needs.
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety.
- 2–3 years Surgical Services Experience (required).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
- Licensed Registered Nurse (required).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required).
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) (preferred).
