Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to its Pediatric Operating Room at the Wolfson Surgery Center. This is a PRN, day shift opportunity requiring 2-3 days per week.

As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Surgery Center, you will work closely with physicians and all operating room teams. You will be a Circulating Nurse, serving as the patient’s primary advocate and responsible for the delivery and documentation of patient care during the intra-operative period.

• Coordinate and prepare assigned room/case for surgery.
• Assess patients and anticipate the needs of each case.
• Perform accurate and complete documentation.
• Apply knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique and sterilization processes.
• Manage and initiate counts, positioning, and other nursing tasks during surgery.
• Maintain patient advocacy and care throughout procedure until transfer to PACU.
• No call coverage or holiday call.

• 1-2 years of perioperative nursing experience.

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.
