ResponsibilitiesWe Are Looking For An Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) To Join Our LD Team In Jacksonville, FL. This Is a Full-time Night Position In Our Labor And Delivery Unit At Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville As a Labor And Delivery RN You Will Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement.
Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel. Coordinate care provided by ancillary services. Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother/baby couplet.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Newborn Nursery Experience
- Mother/Baby Nursing Experience
- Associate's degree Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
