Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Op/Post-Op team at Baptist Orthopedics – Reid Building in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN
day shift opportunity. This specialized orthopedic OR focuses on elective procedures including sports medicine, foot, ankle, and hand surgeries. This role is ideal for an OR nurse seeking a predictable schedule with no call, nights, or weekends.
- Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process
- Coordinate care with surgical and ancillary teams
- Prepare operating room and surgical cases
- Anticipate patient and procedural needs
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety
- 2–3 years Surgical Services Experience (required)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
