Registered Nurse, CVICU Fulltime , Baptist Jacksonville

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
• Incorporate the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) into patient care.
• Include patients, significant others, and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others to their disease process and plan of care.
• Serve as a patient advocate and provide care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care.
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate.
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

• Associate of Science in Nursing or Diploma Nurse (must have 5+ years of progressive care).
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS).

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience (preferred).
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience (preferred).
• Hospital Experience (required).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Certification – preferred.
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – required.
