Position Summary

We are looking for an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery (LDRP) team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time night position in our Labor and Delivery Unit at Baptist Medical Center South.

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing individualized plan of care
• Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units, including caring for the antepartum patient, high‑risk postpartum patient, and the mother/baby couplet

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Labor and Delivery Experience
• Newborn Nursery Experience
• Mother/Baby Nursing Experience

• Associate's degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse required Benefits
