Position SummaryThe House Supervisor (Nursing Supervisor) provides administrative and clinical oversight for nursing and clinical operations during assigned shifts within inpatient residential treatment facilities, Intensive Outpatient or Partial Hospitalization Programs, with or without detoxification services. This role functions as the senior clinical authority on‑site during non‑business hours or designated supervisory shifts and ensures safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations.
The House Supervisor supports nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary communication, oversees patient care delivery, ensures adherence to regulatory standards, and escalates clinical or operational concerns as appropriate. The House Supervisor supports organizational operations across multistate facilities (TN, TX, VA, FL, NC, IN, MS, AL).
Required Hiring Criteria (minimum qualifications)- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment, in good standing with the applicable state Board of Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, with at least one (1) year in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or detoxification services
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification;
- Ability to pass background screening, drug screening, and credential verification in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of state Nurse Practice Acts, medication management standards, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Experience overseeing detoxification protocols and MAT services
- Familiarity with Joint Commission, CARF, or other accreditation standards
- Experience managing multi‑unit or multi‑level care environments
