RN Manager Med Surg Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN Manager Med Surg is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies, and procedures to efficiently provide quality care.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State where you practice or must hold a Compact/Multi-State RN License
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, or if not completed a BSN program, must be enrolled within 6 months of hire into the position and completed within 2 years – BSN Degree preferred
• A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) are required
• 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required; 1+ year of supervisory/leadership experience
