Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist ED North, located at Baptist Emergency at Dunn Avenue. This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with a 36-hour per week commitment, working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and emergent conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Coordinate services provided by ancillary departments to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as a patient advocate, promoting patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction.
• Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health.
• Participate in staff meetings, unit-based initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities.

• 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Emergency Department Experience Preferred
• Hospital Experience

• Associate of Science in Nursing Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred

• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
• Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred

• ACLS required within 6 months for Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs.
• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and within 6 months for WCH ED.
