Role OverviewAssistant Nurse Manager for the Pediatric Med/Surg team. Full‑time day shift position. The unit provides compassionate care for pediatric patients with medical‑surgical and progressive acuity including medically acute behavioral health patients.
Responsibilities- Assist the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations
- Work closely with direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
- Facilitate admission, transfer and discharge flow
- Take a lead role in implementing changes
- Support and coach staff development
- Make shift‑to‑shift patient care assignments
- Take a direct patient care assignment as needed
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
- Licensed Registered Nurse – required
