Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered Nurse is responsible for direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients in the Cath Lab and chest pain unit. Responsibilities include patient care, supervision of assigned personnel, post‑sheath removal care, recognition of groin complications, EKG interpretation, abnormal lab value recognition and reporting to the physician, and input of ACC data. Requires knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures.

Must be able to retrieve, communicate or present information in written, auditory, or visual formats. Essential skills: spoken communication, written, telephone, and manual dexterity.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
