Registered Nurse, Cardiac Respiratory Part Time Nights, Baptist South

Baptist South is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Part‑time Nights in the Cardiac Respiratory PCU. New Hires eligible for a $1,875 Sign on Bonus

Provides patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and supports the mission statement, supervising supportive personnel and coordinating care with ancillary services.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients, significant others, and families about their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.

Associate of Science (AS) in Nursing – required

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) in Nursing – preferred

• 1-2 years Cardiac experience preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry experience preferred
• Hospital experience required

• Registered Nurse (RN) – State Nursing Board license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
• Driver's License – DMV required
