Registered Nurse – Neuro Med Surg/Progressive Care Team
Full‑time night‑shift position based in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic medical issues and minor injuries or illnesses.
- Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.
- Educate patients and families regarding the disease process and plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
- Serve as patient advocate.
- Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
- Minimum 1 year of medical‑surgical nursing experience.
- Telemetry experience.
- Hospital experience.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (AS‑Nursing) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) – State Nursing Boards.
- Driver’s License – DMV.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA.
