We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our LDRP team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time night position in our Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Medical Center South. As a Labor and Delivery RN you will:
Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement. Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel. Coordinate care provided by ancillary services. Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Serve as the patient advocate and be responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother/baby couplet.
ExperienceRequirements
- 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Labor and Delivery Experience
- Newborn Nursery Experience
- Mother/Baby Nursing Experience
- Associate's degree Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred
