Registered Nurse, Emergency Department Nights, Baptist

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Nights with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are 7:00pm-7:00am. The Emergency Department at Baptist Jacksonville is a large, high‑acuity emergency center serving patients from across Northeast Florida. As Baptist Health’s flagship hospital, this facility provides advanced emergency care supported by leading specialists, cutting‑edge technology, and strong clinical collaboration.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

• 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Emergency Department Experience Preferred
• Hospital Experience
• Telemetry Experience

• Associate of Science in Nursing Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
• Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred

• Registered Nurse (RN) – State Nursing Boards
• Driver's License – DMV
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHAAHAAHA
