Brookdale Southside is an assisted living community with 52 assisted living units, 27 memory care units, and 238 independent living units. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN Nurse Manager to join our leadership team. This 317‑unit community is dedicated to providing high‑quality, resident‑centered care in an environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence.
Position SummaryThe LPN Nurse Manager oversees day‑to‑day healthcare operations to ensure residents’ evolving needs are met. Working closely with the Director of Nursing, the role maintains quality care, staff education, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day healthcare operations, ensuring resident needs are met.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care is maintained as needs change.
- Deliver consistent quality resident care across all shifts, stepping into caregiver or Med Tech/Aide roles as required.
- Supervise community‑based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in‑services.
- Schedule associates and oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision.
- Conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
- Share on‑call duties as required.
- Licensed LPN or LVN in the state with a minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience; or RN with equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the 401(k) program.
