Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks of indirect and direct patient care to support nursing practice in the operating room;
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the surgical department/suites following Joint Commission and AORN/Infection control guidelines;
Serve as courier for the surgical department including obtaining and returning blood products and transporting specimens to the lab;
Assist circulator nurse, surgical team, and physician with patient positioning and maintaining patient dignity and privacy during transport
