Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Emergency Department team at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time night shift role that provides specialized emergency care for infants, children, and adolescents in a fast‑paced, family‑centered environment.
Registered NurseJob Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to pediatric patients
- Administer medications per policy
- Educate families on diagnosis and treatment plans
- Collaborate with pediatric specialists and care teams
- Coordinate care with ancillary services
- Serve as a patient and family advocate
- 3–5 years clinical experience (required)
- 1 year emergency nursing experience (required)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required) - TNCC, NRP, ENPC (required)
- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
- PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and within 6 months for WCH ED
