HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – Full Time
OverviewProvide high quality hospice and palliative care to patients across Onslow, Carteret, Jones, and Craven Counties, ensuring comfort, dignity, and compassion in a state‑of‑the‑art setting.
Responsibilities- Apply nursing theories and concepts to deliver individualized care.
- Document care that meets reimbursement guidelines.
- Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team.
- Communicate with patients/families and agency personnel at all levels.
- Attend inter‑disciplinary team meetings and quality reviews as scheduled.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience with a nursing education from an approved school.
- At least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of home‑health and hospice program structure and role as a member of the patient care team.
- Working knowledge of nursing practice act, agency policies, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
- 12 hours of continuing education annually.
- CPR certification.
- Willingness to travel and to work weekend/evening and holiday call assignments.
