Assistant Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health Unit (Day Shift)

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Behavioral Health Unit. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.

• Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations
• Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
• Is an expert clinical resource
• Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow
• Takes a lead role in implementing changes
• Supports and coaches staff development
• Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
• Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• ACLS Required within 6 months for Adult ED’s
• PALS required within one year of hire

This position is designated as requiring a level II Background (a detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
