Baptist South is looking for an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for Fulltime Days. Open to training critical care experience if you have previous bedside background in Med/Surg, ED, Womens or Critical Care.
New Hires eligible for a $2,500 Sign on Bonus
Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel; coordinate care provided by ancillary services. Include patients and significant others/families in developing an individualized plan of care, educate them on disease process and plan.
Serve as patient advocate and provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
- Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
- Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
- Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
- Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
- Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
- Act as the patient advocate
- Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
Required:
Associate of Science in Nursing
Degree Preferred:Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
Experience:- 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
- Hospital Experience
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
