Baptist South – ICU Registered Nurse – Fulltime Nights

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organizes, supervises care provided by supportive personnel, and coordinates care provided by ancillary services. Includes patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Educates patients/SO/families on their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and provides care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care.

As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

• Associate of Science in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor of Arts/Science (Preferred)

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience (Preferred)
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
