BaptistHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse at Baptist Pediatrics on San Jose in Jacksonville, FL.
This is a full-time day-shift opportunity Monday
- Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is phone triage. This office is conveniently located on the corner of I-95 and Old St. Augustine Road on the Baptist South campus. They will support 8 providers and this is a busy, fast-paced office. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and comfortable interacting with patients face to face.
Registered NurseJob Responsibilities
- Triage telephone calls
- Interpret symptoms and communicating plan of care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Manage prior authorizations for medications
- Coordinate workflow pertaining to clinical questions
- Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs
- Room/triage patients for providers
- Reviewing the clinical messages that come through the portal and responding to them
- Using strong communication and documentation skills
- Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Clinical Experience Preferred
