Physician Office Nurse (RN) - BPS

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse at Baptist Pediatrics on San Jose in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is phone triage. This office is conveniently located on the corner of I-95 and Old St. Augustine Road on the Baptist South campus. They will support 8 providers and this is a busy, fast-paced office. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and comfortable interacting with patients face to face.

Triage telephone calls

Interpret symptoms and communicating plan of care

Educate patients and families on treatment plans

Manage prior authorizations for medications

Coordinate workflow pertaining to clinical questions

Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs

Room/triage patients for providers

Reviewing the clinical messages that come through the portal and responding to them

Using strong communication and documentation skills

Associate's Degree in Nursing Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Clinical Experience Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards
