Assistant Nurse Manager – Night Shift
We are looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Pediatric Med/Surg team at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full‑time night shift position. This unit provides compassionate care for pediatric patients with medical‑surgical and progressive acuity including medically acute behavioral health patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations.
- Works closely with direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care.
- Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow.
- Takes a lead role in implementing changes.
- Supports and coaches staff development.
- Makes shift‑to‑shift patient care assignments.
- Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
- Associate Degree (AS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) – required.
- Experience in specialty area.
- Pediatric Hospital Direct Care Experience.
- Experience in Clinical Specialty.
