* Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department team at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift opportunity.
The Pediatric ED provides specialized emergency care for infants, children, and adolescents. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric care in a fast-paced, family-centered environment.
Assistant Nurse Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
Is an expert clinical resource
Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow Takes a lead role in implementing changes
Supports and coaches staff development
Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
Assistant Nurse Manager
Experience:
3–5 years Nursing Experience (required)
Medical Surgical and Telemetry Experience (required)
Leadership and Charge Nurse Experience (required)
Assistant Nurse Manager Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
