Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant
This group is a patient-centered, physician-led dermatology practice committed to delivering high-quality medical dermatologic care to our community. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate service, evidence-based treatment, and a supportive, collaborative environment for both patients and providers.
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in medical dermatology to join our growing team. This position focuses exclusively on medical dermatology—no cosmetic procedures—serving a diverse patient population with a broad range of skin conditions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to providing exceptional clinical care while working collaboratively with our dermatologists and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dermatologic assessments and provide medical treatment for a variety of skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, skin infections, benign lesions, etc.).
- Conduct full-body skin exams and identify potential skin cancers or concerning lesions.
- Perform in-office procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions (if credentialed), and other minor dermatologic treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment expectations.
- Collaborate with supervising dermatologists and clinical team to ensure high-quality continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation within the EMR system.
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and training as needed.
- Step into an existing patient base seeing 40-45 ppd.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday Work Week
- No Weekends!
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of medical dermatology experience required
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida
- Must be capable of stepping in and providing care autonomously
- Strong clinical skills in evaluating and treating general dermatologic conditions.
- Proficiency in dermatologic procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy.
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with physician oversight.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining practice standards.
