The Pediatric Registered Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL, providing direct nursing care to pediatric patients with advanced or life-limiting illnesses. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient responses. The nurse collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, social workers, and counselors, to coordinate holistic care that supports both the child and family.

The role involves providing education to caregivers, promoting comfort and symptom management, documenting care accurately in the medical record, and participating in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives. The Pediatric Registered Nurse also offers emotional support and guidance to families, helping them navigate care decisions and available resources.

• Clinical pediatric nursing skills, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, and symptom management.
• Experience or training in hospice, palliative care, or acute/chronic pediatric care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and supporting patients and families.
• Ability to provide compassionate, family-centered care, including education, counseling, and advocacy.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida; pediatric or hospice/palliative care certification preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and knowledge of relevant clinical and safety standards.
• Capacity to work reliably on-site in Jacksonville, FL, with flexibility to support patients in various care settings.
