Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Employee Health team on a part-time basis at our Downtown Jacksonville campus.
In this role, you will help promote the health, safety, and well-being of Baptist Health team members by providing occupational health services, conducting health assessments, administering immunizations, and supporting employee wellness initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with employee health or occupational health experience who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-employment and employee health assessments.
- Administer immunizations, tuberculosis (PPD) testing, and other occupational health services.
- Triage and evaluate employee injuries and workplace exposures.
- Provide health education and wellness guidance to employees.
- Supervise Medical Assistants within the Employee Health department.
- Complete accurate documentation and data entry in electronic health records.
- Assist with departmental reporting, compliance initiatives, and special projects.
- Collaborate with leaders and employees to support a safe and healthy workplace.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Three to five years of Employee Health or Occupational Health nursing experience required.
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
