Registered Nurse, Medical Oncology, PRN, Baptist MD Anderson

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Medical Oncology Clinic at Baptist MD Anderson.

In this role, you’ll spend your day caring for oncology patients receiving outpatient treatments—conducting assessments, providing symptom management, educating patients, and coordinating care alongside a multidisciplinary team. Every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients through some of their most critical moments with skill, empathy, and clinical expertise.

Positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care.

Work closely with a Physician and other team members to provide patient care and education.

Have strong phone assessment skills and be able to work autonomously in a clinic environment.

Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.

Be able to initiate process suggestions and prioritize well.

Have many opportunities to learn and grow through collaboration and CE opportunities.

1-2 years Nursing Experience Required

Oncology Experience Preferred

Associate of Science in Nursing Required

Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required

Driver's Licensed Required

The Registered Nurse will be located at MD Anderson.
