American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Rehab Nursing IRF night shift position requiring 2+ years of rehabilitation nursing experience and an active FL or compact RN license.
Details- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit located on floors 1-2
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient ratio of 1:8
- Uses Cerner EHR system
- Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required (AHA certifications required)
- Minimum of 2 years' rehabilitation nursing experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
- Provide rehabilitation nursing care within a specialized physical medicine and rehabilitation program
- Work collaboratively as part of a cooperative, team-oriented nursing staff
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Report to the Nurse Manager upon arrival
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
