We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team on weekends. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing nursing services for our residents on the unit assigned. About the Role:As a RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures
Reviewing complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and reporting to the Director of Nursing as required
Maintaining an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, and notifying appropriate personnel of needs
Assisting in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
Making nursing/aide assignments as indicated
Encouraging staff to attend and participate in outside training programs and scheduling times as appropriate
Reviewing nurses' notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care being provided
1 year of experience as an RN or LPN
Current Florida RN or LPN license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
