ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care according to the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the hospital mission statement. Supervise supportive personnel, coordinate care with ancillary services, and involve patients, significant others, and families in developing individualized care plans. Educate patients, significant others, and families about their disease processes and care plans. Demonstrate knowledge of all areas of care related to gastroenterology, and perform conscious sedation with the ability to conduct patient assessments before and after procedures.
The position includes on‑call duties.
- Diploma nurse with 5+ years of progressive care experience.
