Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift, Emergency Department

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Silverleaf, a new free‑standing Emergency Department opening Fall 2026. This is a full‑time opportunity with 36 hours per week, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Baptist Emergency at Silverleaf will expand access to high‑quality emergency care for residents of St. Johns County and surrounding areas. Designed with efficiency and patient experience in mind, this modern facility will provide comprehensive emergency services in a convenient, community‑focused setting.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families on their disease process and plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Serve as a patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Emergency Department Experience Preferred
• Hospital Experience
• Telemetry Experience

• Associate of Science in Nursing Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
• Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred

• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care
