Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.

The Emergency Department at Baptist Jacksonville is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment providing advanced emergency care to patients across Northeast Florida. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives under pressure, values teamwork, and is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or emergent conditions
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Serve as a patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction
• Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
• Telemetry Experience (required)
• Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
• Hospital Experience (required)

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)
