Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring 1 year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required

• High acuity, fast-paced 35-bed telemetry unit
• Cares for acutely ill patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 36-48 hour work week acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need
• Provide telemetry-level care to acutely ill cardiac and pulmonary patients
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
