Applying fertilizer and pesticides to turf and shrubs, recognizing and diagnosing issues with turf and ornamentals.

• Education:
  
  High School or GED
• Experience:
  
  Prior fertilization, turf and ornamentals experience required
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
  Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Other:
  Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform duties that require a great deal of bending
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn the use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to irrigation services

• Identification and treatment of weeds and pests, fertilization, of turf and ornamentals.
• Diagnosing pests.
• Using current methods and best management practices to treat and control pests.
• Maintaining spray equipment and turf.
• Assist other staff with other landscaping responsibilities as needed.

Essential duties: 90% of time.

Assist with landscaping responsibilities: 10% of time.
