We’re looking for experienced Anesthesia Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our growing specialty team in South Daytona, Florida. What You’ll DoAs a Anesthesia Surgery Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role throughout the surgical process—from patient preparation and anesthesia to recovery and post-operative nursing care.
Your day may include:
- Preparing and positioning patients for surgical procedures
- Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
- Assisting with anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Providing attentive perioperative and post-operative nursing care
- Monitoring patient comfort, pain, vital parameters, and anesthetic depth
- Maintaining accurate anesthesia records and medical documentation
- Preparing surgical instruments, equipment, and the operating suite
- Maintaining sterile technique and supporting instrument sterilization
- Assisting surgeons throughout procedures
- Providing clear, detailed patient hand-offs between departments
- Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, technicians, and the broader nursing team
- Triaging and assisting surgeon during consultations and reevaluations.

- Specialty surgical workflows and patient care
We’re looking for someone who brings both strong technical skills and a team-first mindset.
Ideally, you have:
- 3+ years of veterinary surgical and/or anesthesia experience
- Strong veterinary nursing and animal-handling skills
- A calm, focused, and detail-oriented approach
- Confidence working in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for anesthesia, surgery, and high-quality patient care
- A desire to continue learning and advancing professionally
Extra points if you have:
- CVT, LVT, or RVT credentials
- Specialty hospital experience
- Advanced anesthesia monitoring experience
- Experience with ezyVet and/or Vet Radar
Monday–Thursday with Periodic Friday shifts
