What You Will Do
The Quality Systems and Compliance (QS&C) Lead will develop, implement, and maintain an integrated Quality Management System across the Military Sustainment Network, oversee audit planning and execution, integrate existing QMS sets across depots and suppliers, harmonize the sustainment QMS with the higher‑level Pratt & Whitney QMS, support activation of new sites, develop metrics to track quality performance, provide training and qualification initiatives, improve management reviews, operate a tiered sustainment audit program, track non‑compliances, and coordinate process improvements with key teams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an integrated QMS across the Military Sustainment Network.
- Oversee creation and maintenance of network‑level documents and audit planning and execution.
- Integrate existing QMS sets across sustainment quality, domestic and overseas depots, supplier, and field quality activities into a common QMS.
- Harmonize the sustainment QMS with the higher‑level Pratt & Whitney QMS.
- Support activation of new sites, including development of applicable procedures, audit capabilities and certification.
- Develop and implement metrics to track quality performance across the network.
- Provide training and qualification initiatives to raise knowledge of quality and QMS requirements.
- Improve management review, CAB and other core quality reviews to drive more complete decision‑producing reviews.
- Operate a tiered sustainment operations audit program to track network performance, compliance, government property, EH&S, and more.
- Track associated non‑compliances and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate activities with other process improvement teams to integrate procedures appropriately.
- Advanced degree with 5+ years of quality engineering experience in aviation, space, defense, or other regulated industry, OR Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to lead or coach teams through use of RCCA and other process improvement tools.
- Experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities and metrics.
- AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate (preferred).
- Prior quality systems and lead auditor experience preferred.
- Six Sigma or advanced Lean certifications (preferred).
