MAJOR GOAL
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quantity and quality of goods and packages through visual inspection. Responsible for processing returns by communicating with customers. Assisting with special projects such as internal audits, employee training and other ISO tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and maintain quantity and quality of goods and packages through visual inspection.
- Process returns by communicating with customers.
- Assist with special projects such as internal audits, employee training, and ISO tasks.
- Investigate customer complaints and requests for Corrective Action/Preventative Action Reports.
- Work to reduce recurrence and eliminate root causes for errors.
- Improve processes and procedures.
- Write or validate Job Breakdown Sheets (JBS) and procedures/work instructions as needed.
- Enforce the Q/S CARE Program.
- Monitor safety compliance on the warehouse floor and work with operations on corrective actions.
- Perform internal audits (monthly warehouse audits, 6S inspections, Blitz audits, fire-wash checklist, infection control audits) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Facilitate weekly, monthly, and annual training classes.
- Conduct JBS Process Confirmation Checks (PCCs) on employees across all areas.
- Conduct new-hire orientation and PIT trainings.
- Conduct ongoing employee trainings based on JBS in all areas.
- Maintain training trackers and documents.
- Provide operational support: labeling and order verification, issuing labels per customer specifications, investigating discrepancies, communicating with customers, verifying and placarding outgoing orders in the dock area.
- Education: High School Diploma, some college coursework preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a similar position.
- Knowledge/
Skills:- Read, count accurately, perform simple math, write legibly.
- Stand and walk extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8‑hour day).
- Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
- Lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques.
- Follow directions with emphasis on safety.
- Handle stress under tight scheduling and shift priorities easily.
- Use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
