Role ObjectiveThe QA/QC Specialist
- Mechanical is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works, materials, equipment, and installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation review, quality surveillance, and coordination with construction, engineering, and client representatives to maintain the highest quality standards throughout project execution.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review and ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and pipeline construction practices.
- Verify adherence to project specifications, contract requirements, and international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and project-specific requirements.
- Participate in quality audits and assessments.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits and NCRs.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC, Firefighting & plumbing.
- Verify material receiving inspections and material traceability.
- Witness pressure testing, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring and testing equipment.
- Monitor welding, fabrication, fit-up, alignment, and mechanical completion activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
- Minimum 4 years of experience of QAQC in pipeline construction projects or EPC projects.
- Saudi Talent.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
